Recipe 2: Rainbow Sherbet Cake

Alright so the first recipe didn't work and I am not sure why so I hope this one works. This weekend I am going to try to make Rainbow Sherbet Cake. I am making this for a family get together so I will have other taste testers other then me and my boyfriend. Here is the recipe:

Original Recipe Yield 1 -9 inch cake

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) angel food cake

1 pint orange sherbet, softened

1 pint raspberry sherbet, softened

1 pint lime sherbet, softened

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

1. Slice angel food cake crosswise to make four layers. Place the bottom layer on a serving plate, and spread orange sherbet evenly on top. Repeat with remaining cake layers and raspberry and lime sherbets. Finish with final layer of cake. Frost sides and top with whipped topping, and place in freezer for 1 hour, or until firm.
 
I really hope this goes better then the Garlic did, I am still upset that it didn't work or at least it didn't taste how I was hoping it would. But this recipe I am going to follow word for word so...I am a little nervous about the line sherbet tasting good with orange and raspberry sherbet though.
