So when you are trying to make a dinner and do appetizers for your guests you want to make it as easy as possible since you have sooooo much to do so this Baked Onion Dip recipe looks easy enough that you can make it and a bunch of other things at the same time. My boyfriend is going to be out of town this weekend and he HATES onions so I figured this would be a perfect time to try making this dip :) He is still upset he didn't get to try the Blueberry sorbet cake...but maybe I will try another desert recipe next week when he is back.
Prep Time: 10 Min
Cook Time: 45 Min
Ready In: 55 Min
Original Recipe Yield: 6 cups
Ingredients
2 cups sweet onion, peeled and chopped
2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups Parmesan cheese
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, onions and cheese. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for approximately 45 minutes, until the top is slightly brown. Serve hot with buttery, round crackers.
There are only 3 ingredients but I am not judging it because right now my favorite dip only has two! I would share that one with you but it's a family secret... :) Well, off to the grocery store! (I'm out of onions and Parmesan)
