Better Then Applebees

So I have had French Onion Soup at a lot of restaurants and I am kind of picky but if a place could just serve this French Onion Soup...well I would eat there all the time. The only things to note are that you don't need a dutch oven, a pot works just great and that 6 cups of onion really is only like 2 onions. I didn't know so I over bought but oh well I will just have to use them in other things! :) The other problem that I found is that since it has onions my boyfriend won't touch it with a 10 foot poll but oh well that is a personal problem and it means more for me! :)
