# 22 Chicken Wine Pasta

So this didn't turn out like I had planned in my head but it was pretty good! Originally I wanted to make that wine sauce that you get with clams and add chicken and pasta to it, but this was good too.

I used a Riesling wine and mixed it with butter, sauteed garlic and onion and basil. Then I cooked small ball pasta in chicken broth and I cooked the chicken chunks in chicken broth.

Then I poured the sauce over the chicken and pasta a sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top.

  1. ooo this sounds really yummy! As you know I don't drink wine, but I love the flavor of it in food. But every time a recipe calls for wine I feel so overwhelmed because I know nothing about wine! It drives me crazy. I never know what to buy. And how am I supposed to know if it's dry???

  2. My mom always says if you wouldn't drink it then don't use it...which means if it's super cheep it prob isn't very good. In this one I used St. Machille Reasling because that's what I had open and it worked well (it's a $6 bottle) but it is sweeter. I am sure you can look online for a guide of sweet wines vs dry wines but most red wines are dryer and there are some chardenays that are dryer. :/ sorry that's not much help
