So while vacationing in San Fransisco my boyfriend and I went to a restaurant where we got cheesy red potatoes...omg they were so good!!! So of course I figured..."I could that" and sure enough I can do that! :)
Alright once again saute up some garlic and then pour in some half and half an let it warm up...then pour in some Parmesan cheese and stir till it gets thick and yummy.
Chop up red potatoes into 8ths (that way they cook faster) and put them in a circular pan that can go in the oven. Once you have all your potatoes in the pan, pour the cheese cream sauce over the top coating all the potatoes. Then take some cheddar cheese (I used a sharp cheddar) and shred it up over the top of the potatoes and then cover with tin foil.
Cook the potatoes in to over until you can easily slide a fork through the potatoes.
I love this!! I have already made it twice since we have been back from our trip! So easy but it does take about an hour or so for the potatoes to cook so you need to make sure to pre-plan or start cooking when your not at the "starving I need to eat now" stage.
